Overcoming Alcohol Habits with Life Coaching

Background and Interests

I’m a Certified Transformative Life Coach who is helping clients transform their lives in ways they never thought possible.

Throughout my career of over forty years in corporate management and coaching, I have had the privilege of assisting colleagues. I have supported them in achieving their career objectives and fostering their professional growth. My expertise has enabled me to inspire them to attain exceptional levels of performance and accomplishments. I have moved on from my corporate career. Now, my new role as a coach is dedicated to guiding individuals. I help them on their journeys towards alcohol freedom.

I’ve been a life-long active person. I love being outdoors. I enjoy playing pickleball, long walks, golfing, swimming, kayaking, and road biking. I also love traveling and spending time with my husband and 7 grandchildren. I’m a big fan of the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and Michigan State University.

My Transformation

During my high school years, I began drinking moderately as a social drinker. However, the COVID-19 lockdown led to a significant change in my drinking habits. After work, I started drinking almost every night, gradually increasing the number of drinks per night and the frequency of drinking sessions. This pattern resulted in middle-of-the-night anxiety, digestive health issues, and brain fog.

Curious about the impact of alcohol use on my body, I began researching the effects of alcohol consumption. I discovered that alcohol was the root cause of many of the symptoms I was experiencing. After taking a few weeks of abstinence, I noticed a significant reduction or elimination of these symptoms. This positive experience motivated me to delve deeper into the subject and explore effective strategies for lasting change in my drinking habits.During my research, I encountered Life Coaching, which provided me with valuable tools and techniques to alter my thought patterns and influence the outcomes of various situations. I identified the thought patterns that perpetuated my unhealthy drinking habits and replaced them with more aligned and positive thoughts. These revised thoughts better aligned with my overall goals and helped me break free from the cycle of addiction. It is important to clarify that I do not identify as an alcoholic. Instead, I have chosen to modify my thought patterns regarding alcohol consumption to effect positive changes in my drinking habits.

Work with Me

My objective is to encourage you to acknowledge your current level of alcohol consumption. I want you to incorporate the strategies and tools I have employed into your daily routine. This will facilitate sustainable change. Driven by a vision to foster transformation and expand the boundaries, we will collaborate to make this a tangible reality.
